LONG BEACH SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENT REGISTRATION


2024-2025 STUDENT REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

New students registering in Long Beach Schools must bring:

     * MS 121 Immunization form

     * Original birth certificate

     * Student’s Social Security Card

     * (2) Proofs of residence  (One from Group 1 and one from Group 2)


 Proof of Residency Documentation

 In order to complete school registration, residency documentation must be provided yearly.  

 The Proofs of Residence for all schools will be accepted at Harper McCaughan Elementary located at 19200 Pineville Road, only on the dates and times specified.

                     (June 3rd @ 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m ,   June 4th @ 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.)


For entering PreK and kindergarten students, please bring the documentation listed above and the 2 proofs of residence as listed below to the respective school, from May 7th to May 17th between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.  Otherwise, you may come to the registration days listed above. 

Entering 4th grade students that have completed online registration and will register for 4th grade camp (July 9-12), please bring the 2 proofs of residence as listed below to Harper McCaughan from May 7th to May 17th between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.  Otherwise, you may come to the registration days listed above. 

 An entering kindergarten student must have reached his/her 5th birthday on or before September 1st of the said school year.

An entering PreK student must have reached his/her 4th birthday on or before September 1st of the said school year.


Note: Once registration has been completed and submitted electronically, the parent or legal guardian must bring in two (2) of the items listed below for verification of their address. The two proofs must match the student’s primary residence. A post office box will not be accepted.  The documents accepted as proof must be preprinted with the name and address of the student’s parent / legal guardian, and all applicants must submit at least one document from each of the following groups:

Group 1:

        *  Filed Homestead Exemption Application form or Homestead Exemption Renewal Card

        *  Mortgage documents or property deed

        *  Apartment or home lease – must list all tenants

Group 2:

        *  Current Automobile Registration

        *  A utility bill showing the service address and dated within the last 60 days

       o    Gas bill

            o    Water bill

              o    Electric bill
